J en Komaromi started Jenny K. with the intent of bringing small manufacturers into the mainstream. Ms. Komaromi was raised in a family business. When growing up, she witnessed first hand the challenges that all small businesses face. With the rise of many large retailers causing the death of small retailers across the country she felt it was necessary to speak out about the importance of supporting small businesses.

T he Gift Industry is unique in that there are very few ‘major’ players that dominate the market. This is due in great part to the fact that people love finding gifts that are unique, whimsical and fun. Ms. Komaromi has been working in the Gift Industry since 1997. She started working as an independent sales representative in 2000. Along the way she was given an opportunity to have a website built by students at San Francisco State University. The site created for her was designed with the retailer as its target. However, instead of retailers, she began getting emails daily from consumers wanting to purchase her products.

J en and her wonderful husband Kevin soon began work to change the site into a retail e-business. The site has gone through many transformations as Jen's internet business has grown. We are constantly working to add more products that better serve the needs of our customers.
